twilight

Its Twilight once more
Tears masqurrade
Behind a hidden door
Of moonlit Shadows
casting sin
On the first heart
That lets them in
Thoughts devour
Hopes and dreams
For nothing is ever
As it seems
In the stillness
Of the lifeless air
Truth Wraps around her
In a cloak of despair...

  1. “Do not judge me by my successes, judge me by how many times I fell down and got back up again.” - Nelson Mandela

Mandela knew that the mark of true champions, in any walk of life, is that they always jump back up after getting knocked down. The good thing for our heroine here is that the cloak of darkness can’t be truth, for truth never hides deep in the shadows of darkness. So, the cloak is only temporary.

Great to see you writing again; this is an awesome piece :)
